Travel Technology Europe 2018

2018’s Travel Technology Europe, taking place at London Olympia on the 21st and 22nd February is set to have a greater focus on technology for the hospitality industry. Due to the popularity of last year’s hospitality zone, 2018 will see a larger zone dedicated to the latest technology for the hotel industry, showcasing innovations in accommodation, in-room and marketing technology. There will be 15 dedicated hotel conference sessions covering topics such as robotics, the alternative lodging sector, optimising channel mix and revenue and hotel mega-mergers.

Travel Technology Europe is also calling on start-ups to apply for the show’s Launchpad. Launchpad premiered in 2016 and offers start-ups in the travel, hotel and marketing industries the chance to receive extensive marketing support, exposure to the show’s attendees and an entry into the Travel Technology Disrupt Award, the winner of which receives a full-sized stand worth £8,000 at the next year’s show. Last year Travel Technology Europe increased its investment in innovation by doubling the size of Launchpad. This means that up to 15 start-ups can now exhibit for free at the show. Last year’s Travel Technology Europe Disrupt Award was won by Wanderpay (previously Flyto), a groundbreaking new service that allows travellers to pay for flights in easy, fixed monthly instalments rather than upfront in one go.

The deadline for Launchpad applications is 1 st December 2017. To apply for Launchpad, and for free registration to Travel Technology Europe, please visit the show website.
